about
This song uses the metaphor and imagery of the Andromeda galaxy colliding with the Milky Way and seemingly destroying everything, yet coming together in the end to create one grand beautiful whole. This is to represent humanity constantly clashing with one another over space, resources, politics, and beliefs.
The hope is that in the end, after all the turmoil we can come together. Forgive, love, and embrace one another to create something grand and beautiful, instead of destroying ourselves.
lyrics
The sky... fell down... my nose...
Welcome Home... and behold...
Collide... slow...
The sky... unfolds...
The blues and hues,
Of Gold, they glow,..
As time's... flexed and pulled...
Welcome home... We're whole...
Welcome home...
The sky... fell down... my nose...
Welcome Home... and behold...
There's Fire... in the sky tonight...
We cry... into the light...
We're Bruised, and confused,
Nothing left to do but enjoy the show...
Hey now, all you got is head full of fears
In your eyes and your ears so
Lay down, if you don't want get stepped on
Then you need a back-bone of
Stone child, if you really wanna get past this
Then you'll need a remedy
You know that It's killin' me
Held down, by the force of the sheer discourse
And the weight of the gravity's
Dark waves, cuz it's high time
That we all get pulled right down in the
High tide, if you really wanna get past this
Then you'll need a remedy
It's pure calamity
Hey now, all you got is head full of fears
In your eyes and your ears so
Lay down, if you don't want get stepped on
Then you need a back-bone of
Stone child, if you really wanna get past this
Then you'll need a remedy
It's pure calamity
The sky... fell down... my nose...
Welcome Home... and behold...
We're whole...
Welcome home...

Strange Flavors is a progressive rock band that formed in late 2015 out of Ypsilanti, MI. With their energetic stage antics,
big sound and over the top performances they quickly made a name for themselves. Floating through driving rhythms, intricate solos, syncopated bass lines, and crushing vocals the group exudes a sound and style all their own. Brutal, yet soulful and cerebral....more
This must be what it was like to hear Zeppelin I when it first came out. Pure, raw energy combined with masterful production takes this thing over the top. 10/10 <3 Strange Flavors
The two epic tracks on the latest from BC group Lakeman are mind-melters, opening slow and pensive before erupting into near-doom metal. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 4, 2022
